We collect and utilise your personal data strictly in accordance with the legal requirements of the Data Protection Act of the Federal Republic of Germany.

System-internal data transfer and logging

Each time a user accesses our website or downloads a file, a record of this procedure is temporarily stored and processed in a log file. Prior to storage, each data set is anonymized by changing the IP address. The following data will be collected for each specific use of the website:

-    Anonymized IP address
-    Date and time
-    Page visited/name of downloaded file
-    Volume of data transferred
-    Notification whether or not data retrieval was successful

This data is stored on the servers of our provider in an anonymous form and cannot be correlated with a specific person. It will be used only for statistical purposes and evaluated for the purposes of improving our services, whereafter it will be deleted. It will not be used in any other way or passed on to a third party.

When individual pages are visited, so-called temporary cookies are used to facilitate navigation. These cookies do not contain any personal data and expire when the session is closed.

Collection and use of personal data

We collect the personal data of donors and interested persons required for the purposes of fundraising and/or management, or for processing enquiries. We also use your address – and with your consent also your e-mail address and telephone number – in conformance with the requirements of the German Federal Data Protection Act to send your (annual) donation receipt and information about our voluntary work.

Transfer of personal information to third parties

By order of the appropriate authorities your data it may be necessary to make your data available in individual cases for the purposes of criminal prosecution, averting danger, performing legal tasks of the federal and state constitution protection agencies or protection of intellectual property rights.

Your personal data will not be distributed, passed on, lent or sold to other companies or organisations.

Right of information and revocation

You are entitled to information at any time on your personal data stored by us, its origin and recipient, as well as the purpose of storage. You may revoke your consent to the use and storage of your data at any time with effect for the future.
